Day Wise Itinerary

DAY 1: Varanasi

On arrival at Varanasi Airport. Representative who will be waiting to greet you with a paging board with your name on.Alternatively known as Benaras and Kashi, the holy city of Varanasi (Banaras) lies on the banks of the Ganges. Said to have been founded by Lord Shiva himself, this place finds mention in the epic sagas of 'Ramayana' and the 'Mahabharata'. Most people conforming to the Hindu faith strive to visit Varanasi at least once in their lives.Adorned with epithets like 'the religious capital of India' and 'the city of temples', Varanasi is the holiest of holy cities for Hindus. Not only does the city attract countless pilgrims, it's a place where many choose to spend their last days. Belief goes that the one who dies here attains eternalsalvation.You will be transferred to your hotel.Later in the evening you will be taken to river bank of Ganga to see cremation rituals followed by witnessing the mesmerizing grand prayer (aarti) ceremony. Varanasi night prayer ceremony is a kind of Hindu way of worship, which is basically an event organized everyday to give thanks to river Ganges. Normally a Hindu worship is done privately, but this worship ceremony is done on the river bank of Ganges openly and publicly. It is only of its kind, therefore attracts thousands of people daily to witness it. This Hindu ritual of saying thanks is very unique and surreal. It started a few years ago but making its importance rapidly to the world. Almost 90 percent of the tourists who comes to Varanasi attend this prayer ceremony for sure. This grand event start time depends on sunset and therefore vary month to month. It goes for 45 minutes and is very engaging. Return back to Hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 2: Varanasi - Gwalior

Morning is free on your own.  Later in time, assisted transfer to the airport to board your flight to Gwalior. Arrival at Gwalior Station, Vehicle will be waiting for you, Check in to Pre Book Hotel. Evening Enjoy Light & Sound Show . . O/n Stay at Gwalior.

Sarnath Museum

Sarnath Museum is the oldest site museum of Archaeological Survey of India. It houses the findings and excavations at the archaeological site of Sarnath, by the Archaeological Survey of India. Sarnath is located near Varanasi, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The museum has 6,832 sculptures and artefacts.

Ganga Aarti

Varanasi is a sacred and oldest city of the world located at the banks of the holy River Gange. Where, Gange aarti is performed daily in the evening by a group of priests at the Dashashwamedh ghat. Through the aarti, Agni Pooja is performed in which a commitment is made to the Lord Shiva, Mata Gange, Surya, Agni (Fire) as well as the whole universe made by the Lord Shiva. On some special occasions, religious festivals and second day of the week means Tuesdays, a particular type of aarti is held at this ghat.

Budhha Temple

Varanasi, a holy city in India is situated on western banks of sacred river Ganga in Uttar Pradesh. The city is regarded sacred in Hindu religion. Varanasi [Ref] also known as Banaras by British is also mentioned pious in the greatest Indian epic ‘Mahabharata’. Varanasi served as the largest trade centre when Lord Buddha reached here for his first sermon in 500 BC. Varanasi city is world famous and once American novelist Marc Twain quoted, “Banaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together.” Varanasi has served as a home to Hindu religion and has preserved the culture, tradition and rituals of Hindu religion. The place offers serene feel and pilgrims visit Varanasi for divine blessings.Varanasi experiences extreme conditions during summers when temperature reaches the 45 degree mark. Monsoon season starts by the end of June and the beginning of July month. The rainy season develops moisture and humidity in the city. Winters are considered pleasant in Varanasi. The mornings are engulfed in fog but temperature is maintained around 20 degrees during day time.Varanasi features many temples which are situated near the holy river Ganga. The holy city is flooded with pilgrims throughout the year. The Ghats of river Ganga are the major tourist attraction in Varanasi. Many holy rituals are carried out on these Ghats. Amongst many interesting places in Varanasi, Alamgir mosque, Vishwanath Temple, Durga Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple and Banaras Hindu University are most prominent ones.

Varanasi or Banaras, mentioned in the scriptures as Kashi, is less of a city and more of a dreamy experience. It is a paragon of Indian culture, philosophy, traditions and spiritual ethos since times immemorial. It is among the Sapta Puries, meaning seven sacred cities of Ancient India. The city is located on the bank of River Ganga which has two tributaries in the city: Varuna and Assi; hence the name Varanasi. The combination of Kashi – the holy city, Ganga- the sacred river and Shiva- the supreme God, makes Varanasi an immortal destination. Today, Varanasi remains the hub of cultural and holy activities. In the field of learning, especially of Religion, Philosophy, Yoga, Ayurveda, Astrology, Dance and Music, the city is certainly unparalleled. The Banarasi Silk Sarees and Brocades are known worldwide for its elegance. Varanasi is full of surprises abounding every corner; the more one explores it, the more one falls in love with it!

Kashi Vishwanath Temple

Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. The Temple stands on the western bank of the holy river Ganga, and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the holiest of Shiva Temples

• Check-in time at Hotel is 1400 Hrs & Check-out time is 1100 Hrs.
• Your tours and transfers are based on tour itinerary & not at disposal basis.
• Your Itinerary will be strictly on timings.
• Room  Rates  based  on  Standard  Rooms.  Supplement  cost  will  be  applicable  for  Valley Facing / higher category rooms.
• Breakfast will start from Day 2 of the itinerary.
• Services will be given in exchange of Original vouchers/Itinerary only.

• Optional sightseeing has to be booked in advance on your own by paying an additional cost.

• On hilly areas the CAR AC will not work.
• During sightseeing the vehicle will go up to permissible point only, from that point any arrangement to be made all extra expenses shall have to be borne by the passengers.
• Extra bed in the room means only extra mattress.( no cot )
• Any govt. tax levied must be borne by the passengers only.
• Pre ponement of journey is not allowed. It will be treated as cancellation & accordingly the cancellation charges  will be applicable.
• If  accommodation  is  not  available  in  the  identified  /  specific  hotel  for  the  particular package tour due to reason beyond our control, we shall make our best efforts to shift the clients to hotel maintaining / having  more or less the same standard. No complaint or claim shall be made by the client in this respect.
• If any airline is delayed or cancelled, We are  not responsible for any compensation for  hotels, meals, sightseeing or any other claim.

• 100% payment to be made at least 30 days before departure.

Cancellation Policy

• 45 days or more prior to the departure Rs.10000
• 45-30 days prior to the departure 25% of the tour cost
• 30-15 days prior to the departure 50% of the tour cost
• 15-07 days prior to the departure 100% of the tour cost Or a “No Show” on the tour 100% of the tour cost
