Select the preferred category—standard, premium or luxury—and ask for the exact hotel and lodge names. Confirm room types, meal plans, locations and the policy for substitute accommodation.

Adding extra nights or Zanzibar sightseeing

Tell the travel team which activities or additional nights you want before flights are ticketed. The itinerary and transfers can then be adjusted without creating unnecessary schedule conflicts.

What should be checked before confirming the safari?

Review the route, hotel names, room category, safari vehicle, park fees, border arrangements, meals, flights, visas, Zanzibar insurance, optional activities, exclusions and cancellation policy.

When should this East Africa safari be booked?

Booking early is recommended, particularly during popular migration periods, school holidays and festive dates. Safari lodges and internal flights have limited capacity and may become expensive closer to departure.

Can optional activities be booked after confirming the tour?

Optional activities may be added later, subject to availability. Balloon safaris and limited-capacity experiences are better reserved in advance.

Confirming the final package price

Ask for a dated quotation showing all inclusions, exclusions, taxes, park fees, internal flights and optional costs. The price should be considered final only after availability is reconfirmed.

Completing the package booking

Approve the final itinerary and complete the required booking form, passenger details and initial payment. Riviera Tours & Travel will advise the applicable payment schedule and documentation deadlines.

What documents will be provided after confirmation?

Depending on the services booked, travellers may receive flight tickets, hotel vouchers, safari itinerary, transfer information, insurance documents and other applicable travel confirmations.

Making changes after booking

Contact Riviera Tours & Travel immediately if dates, passenger details or services need to change. Airline, hotel, safari and visa-related amendment charges may apply.

Preparing for departure

Before travelling, recheck passport validity, visas, Kenya eTA, Zanzibar insurance, vaccination requirements, flight timings, baggage limits, emergency contacts and all travel vouchers.

• Payment to be made as per the current rate of exchange on the day of final payment and we charge 0.25p more than exchange rates online

• Your Itinerary will be strictly on timings. Please reach at pickup point at least 10mins before your given pickup time. And make yourself visible to Driver/Coach Captain. Coach drivers cannot wait if you are late. If you are late, you will need to make your own arrangements at own cost.

• Room allocation -Twin rooms /Double room will be as per the availability at the time of check in.90% of rooms are Twin rooms and there is no guarantee for room with Double Bed.
• Room Rates based on Standard Rooms. Supplement cost will be applicable for Sea facing/Lake Facing Rooms.
• Breakfast will start from Day2 of the itinerary.
• Tap water is suitable for drinking. 
• Meals Doesn’t Include any Beverages Hard/Soft drinks, Fruit Juices
• Optional sightseeing has to be booked in advance on your own by paying an additional cost. You can contact hotel travel desk counter or our agent to book optional sightseeing.
• It is recommended to buy Local Sim Card, to make local calls for reconfirmation with coach drivers, operators, and airline office.
• We recommend taking Overseas Medical insurance.

• Baggage Allowance 20 Kg per person for Check in Baggage.7 Kgs for Cabin Baggage.
