Document required for France Visa
Tourist Visa
- Passport issued within the last 10 years, valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended stay, with at least 2 blank pages, plus previous passports.
- Copies of all used passport pages and relevant previous visas.
- Completed online application, printed and signed, with the generated barcode receipt.
- Two recent 35 × 45 mm colour photographs on matte paper, with a white background and approximately 80% face coverage.
- Signed cover letter stating the purpose, duration, applicant details and responsibility for expenses.
- Confirmed accommodation covering the trip and return travel covering every sector.
- Schengen travel medical insurance covering the full journey with minimum coverage of EUR 30,000; additional geographical wording may be required.
- Original personal bank statements for the last 3 months, sealed and signed by the bank.
- Personal income-tax records for the last 3 years.
- Employee: last 3 months’ salary slips and employer no-objection or leave letter.
- Business owner: company registration, company bank statements and company cover letter.
- Retired applicant: retirement proof and evidence of regular income.
- Sponsored applicant: sponsorship, accommodation and sponsor identity evidence.
- Minor: birth certificate, parental passport copies and notarised consent where travelling alone or with one parent.
- Provide documents on A4 paper without staples where required.
- Personal appearance and biometric enrolment may be required.
- Applicants aged 18 or above should provide personal financial evidence or explain its absence in the cover letter.
- Further documents or an interview may be requested.
Business Visa
- Passport issued within the last 10 years, valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended stay, with at least 2 blank pages, plus previous passports.
- Copies of used passport pages and relevant previous visas.
- Completed online application, printed and signed, with the generated barcode receipt.
- Two recent 35 × 45 mm colour photographs on matte paper, with a white background and approximately 80% face coverage.
- Indian company cover letter stating the applicant’s designation, purpose, duration, travel dates and responsibility for expenses.
- Invitation from the French company addressed to the responsible French authority.
- For training or qualifying work activity, clearance from the relevant French labour authority may be required.
- Confirmed accommodation, return travel and Schengen medical insurance with minimum coverage of EUR 30,000.
- Original personal bank statements for the last 3 months and personal income-tax records for the last 3 years.
- Employee: last 3 months’ salary slips and employer no-objection letter.
- Business owner: company bank statements, registration evidence and company cover letter.
- Provide documents on A4 paper without staples where required.
- Personal appearance and biometric enrolment may be required.
- Additional documents or an interview may be requested.
