Important Note
Important Visa Information
Indian citizens holding an ordinary passport and a valid, current U.S. B1/B2, B1, B2, J, O, P (P1, P2 or P3), E or H-1B visa, or lawful U.S. permanent residence (Green Card), may qualify to enter Argentina for tourism without a consular visa or AVE/ETA for a stay of up to 90 days.
This exemption applies only to tourism. Travellers should confirm their eligibility and the required remaining validity of their U.S. visa or Green Card before departure. Applicants who do not qualify must obtain the appropriate Argentine visa.
Visa applicants should apply at least 6 weeks before the intended travel date. A personal interview and additional documents may be required. Submission of complete documents does not guarantee visa approval.
New Delhi generally handles applicants residing in India except Maharashtra. Maharashtra applicants are generally handled by the Argentine Consulate General in Mumbai. Short-duration visa applications may be accepted by other Argentine consulates subject to their current procedures.
