Document required for Denmark Visa
Tourist Visa
- Passport issued within the last 10 years, valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended Schengen stay, with at least 2 blank pages; some centres may expect 6 months’ remaining validity.
- Colour copies of the current passport and relevant pages of previous passports.
- Completed online application, printed and signed, together with the payment receipt and required declarations.
- Recent 35 × 45 mm colour photograph on a light or white background.
- Signed cover letter stating the purpose, duration, applicant details and responsibility for expenses.
- Accommodation covering the full stay and confirmed return travel covering every sector.
- Schengen travel medical insurance covering the entire journey with minimum coverage of EUR 30,000.
- Original personal bank statements showing recent account activity and sufficient funds; providing 6 months is the safer standard.
- Personal income-tax records for up to the last 3 years.
- Employee: last 3 months’ payslips, employment proof and approved leave letter.
- Business owner: company registration proof, company bank statements, tax records and company cover letter.
- Sponsored applicant: sponsorship letter, sponsor identity proof and financial evidence.
- Retired applicant: recent pension statements and proof of regular income.
- Minor: birth certificate, parental identity copies and notarised consent where travelling alone or with one parent.
- Print documents on A4 sheets, do not staple them and provide colour copies where requested.
- Personal appearance, appointment and biometric enrolment may be required.
- Travel should be planned with adequate time after submission; buying non-refundable tickets before approval is not recommended.
- Additional documents or an interview may be requested.
Business Visa
- Passport issued within the last 10 years, valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended stay, with at least 2 blank pages and previous passports where available.
- Colour copies of all current passport pages and relevant previous visa pages.
- Completed online application, printed and signed, with the required payment receipt and declarations.
- Recent 35 × 45 mm colour photographs on a white background.
- Invitation from the Danish or Icelandic host stating the applicant’s name, purpose, dates and costs covered.
- Indian company cover letter stating the applicant’s designation, itinerary, purpose, organisations to be visited and intended stay.
- For a first visit, business correspondence and the applicant’s highest educational certificate may be required.
- Accommodation, confirmed return travel and Schengen medical insurance with minimum coverage of EUR 30,000.
- Original personal bank statements for the last 6 months and personal income-tax records for the last 3 years.
- Employee: last 3 months’ payslips and employer no-objection letter.
- Business owner: company bank statements, company tax records, registration proof and company cover letter.
- Print documents on A4 sheets, do not staple them and provide colour copies where requested.
- Personal appearance, appointment and biometric enrolment may be required.
- A reason letter may be requested when a previous Schengen visa was not used.
- Additional documents or an interview may be requested.
